WARNING!!! I am going to talk about Jesus. Watch/Read at your own risk.
As a Christian man in today’s world, I am challenged with a lot of questions about faith. The toughest question for me to answer, used to be, where is God? Most people added on to this by asking how could he let all this bad stuff happen. We can discuss the second part of the question in a later video. In this video, I want to answer the first part of the question once for all, By sharing with you exactly where God is in our world.
My name is Craig Hallenberger and I was blessed to find Jesus Christ early in my childhood. But, like everybody, I still had a question if God was truly present in our world. Then one day after reading a book by Albert Einstein, I heard the Gospel depicting Jesus sermon on the mount. It was like I was hearing it for the first time. My life has not been the same since.
In addition, as a Roman Catholic, I practice my faith with rituals past down from Jesus and his disciples. After my change in perspective, all of these rituals seemed clearer and more powerful than ever. For 30 years of my life I performed rituals out of faith and now I perform these rituals with a clear understanding of the differences God is making in my life.
What could I have learned that made such a profound change in my life? Well allow me to share it with you, so you can experience God and his son Jesus Christ the same way I do.
Let’s start by reviewing the structure of an atom. An atom is made up of protons, neutrons and electrons. The protons and the neutrons live together in the nucleus of the atom and the electrons spin around that nucleus. The surprising thing is an atom is mostly empty space.
Since oxygen makes up 65% of our body, let’s use it as our example.
An oxygen atom contains 8 protons, 8 neutrons and 8 electrons. If we expanded one oxygen atom to the size of a Walmart or Target parking lot. The nucleus containing the 8 protons and 8 neutrons, would be the size of the tip of a pen. Flying around that parking lot would be 8 electrons each 1/16 the size of the tip of a pen. So this parking lot is mostly empty space. The physical particles of the atom are extremely small. Even when it is enlarged to the size of a parking lot. Is this space truly empty? NO
When I am working with business leaders and entrepreneurs, I call it atomic energy or creative energy. This energy, as scientist like to call it, that fills more of that parking lot than any physical piece of the atom, is God.
He is the energy that all creation comes from and the energy that drives everything in the world. An atom is the basis of everything in the universe. The things we can see and the things we cannot see. More importantly, God sent his son Jesus Christ to teach us how to be close to him and tap into this energy. Christ showed us how to forgive and how to pray. In my many years of studying this information and learning how to work with it, I discovered two consistent truths that can help us experience God in our life.
1. Christ used forgiveness as a weapon to affect the world. He used it to heal and change the hearts of people around him. In contrast, in my Christian formation, I was taught to use forgiveness as an insurance policy that would fix all my mistakes.
2. Christ talked about praying with the complete belief or assumption that God had already granted you what you were praying for. Again, in my christian formation, I was praying asking for God’s will to be done and I just accepted that means my prayer may not be answered.
I promise you that God is present in our world and specifically in you. There is no logical reason for that being that created atoms and then exists in that energy present in them, not wanting the best for itself and person hosting it.
So love the Lord your God with all of your heart, all of your soul and all of your mind. Pray every moment just as Jesus told his disciples after he condemned the fig tree. As though the one thing you are praying for has already been given to you by the father.
And finally, you must forgive yourself and everyone in your life, so you can have a complete relationship with the God that is present in the billions of atoms in your body, as well as the universe around you.
Always remember the structure of an atom. God is larger, and there is more of him, than the physical pieces that make up everything in our universe.
Thank you for your time. I hope this information will touch your soul and bring you into a full relationship with God and his son Jesus Christ.
